The Atmospheric and Environmental emphasis allows students to explore the world of chemistry in relation to our atmosphere, pollution, water, soil, and the effects on different ecosystems.

The Biology emphasis helps students get their BS/BA in chemistry while dipping their toes into the world of biological sciences focusing more on life sciences and med school pre requisites. Students may also want to look into the Biochemistry degree as both have similar requirements.

The Business emphasis connects the world of chemistry and the structure of business. Often helping prepare students for law school or maybe opening their own private practice.

The Chemical Engineering emphasis is utilized by students with an interest in creating and developing their own products or compounds. Students often use this as a stepping stone to finishing the requirements to apply for the engineering department.

The Geological emphasis allows students to explore the complexity of rock composition and the principles of earth science.

The Material Science & Engineering emphasis helps prepare students for the mines and earth science college. It allows them to be introduced to engineering courses while seeing hwo they relate to their chemistry courses.

The Math emphasis is used by students with a strong skill in math and plan to pursue the PHD route in chemistry.

The Physics emphasis helps students delve deeper into the physical side of chemistry by increasing their knowledge of the physical world and its limitations.

The Professional emphasis is used by students with plans to pursue a PHD in chemistry and gets students ready to earn their ACS Licensing.
